UC Merced’s Division of Finance and Administration is excited to announce the newly created Department of Hospitality Services. The department is a one-stop shop for events, catering and conference services.
Hospitality Services includes Lakeside Catering, Conference and Event Services, room reservations, the UC Merced conference center, public event management, summer conferences, summer conferences and guest housing.
By combining these units, the Hospitality Services team can focus on providing world-class customer service in meeting and event planning to campus departments and external groups. Hospitality Services offers expertise in every detail of meeting and event planning -- venues, dining, transportation and guest housing -- to ensure successful conferences and catered events.
Hospitality Services manages meeting and exterior spaces across campus and at the Downtown Campus Center. The department will also manage UC Merced’s new conference center, opening in June 2020.
A new Hospitality Services website will be available soon, and the department is accepting reservation requests for the conference center now.
